Child Abuse Resolved Through Education (CARTE)

C.A.R.T.E. Inc. – established November 26, 1990 as a California 501C3 non-profit organization to educate the general public about the devastating effects of child abuse, and to provide an intensive experiential treatment program called the STARR Program – Succeed through Accountable Responsible Resolve for abused and abandoned teenage girls. CARTE also provides a dynamic women’s personal and professional transformation course called Partner in Excellence (PIE). Net proceeds from this course, which is open to all women, are used to financially support the STARR Program.

Vision Statement:

CARTE’s vision is to be a bold interruption in the cycle of abuse and exploitation of children. Through its accelerated STARR Program, these high-risk teenage girls can begin the healing process and re-define themselves as strong, pure, vital young women rather than victims of a shameful past.

Mission Statement:

Through dynamic, committed leadership, our team mission is to champion women and teenage girls and inspire them to strive for excellence by participating with courage and authenticity in the PIE and STARR Programs offered by CARTE.
